    Turtle Talk presentations are free and open to the public.  The slide presentation is an introduction to sea turtles and includes a basic overview of the sea turtle species with concentration on species that commonly nest on the Brevard County beaches.   The presentation also examines the causes of sea turtle population declines and the ongoing laws in effect to protect and prevent them from becoming extinct.  Free information brochures will be available for attendees before and after the slide presentation, as well as some sea turtle props on display for viewing.

    Completion of the Turtle Talk presentation is a basic requirement for volunteers who are interested in participating in the STPS programs and is a prerequisite for any volunteer activity involving hands on work with turtles.
